Wednesday

Wednesday was an interesting day. We spent the affternoon at Pineapple's pool where we mwt the following.
Jason, a 41 year old Marine (once a marine always a marine) He sold off properties and left Virginia in Decembeer on his sail boat and will be gone about a year solo. H is the one on your left sitting on the pool.
The guy on the right is from California. His wife died 10 months ago so he bought a sailboat on the internet and picked it up in Florida. Went to sailing school for two weeks and took off for the Bahamas. His sory is quite wild with all his misadventures and problems. He is getting better at sailing and plans to be gone for a year solo.
An earlier picture of Rob and Lauren. Their sailboat is 50 years old and was built from one huge tree in New Zealand. Every bit of trim is all from the same tree. He sailed it from South Africa and they are live aboards.
Wednesday night was The Gulley Roosters at Green Turtle Club. We missed Pual with his air guitar. It was packed and several Sailors we met showed up for the party.
