Monday June 15th
This was the day for the picnic and outing at Manjack Cay on a beach called Lincoln Park. It is named after Lincoln a local fisherman who takes his group there for lunch of fresh cooked fish.
We spent the entire day there and met some very interesting people.
One man had stage four cancer and was told hed was incurable and took forty radiation and Chemo treatments and then started "juicing through a feeding tube for a year. He was mysteriously in remission and has been for five years. Boy is that guy full of life.
An of course we hung out with Carl and Marilyn Fisher and their family. It is their 50th anniversiry this year. Carl has been coming here since he was a child. Their cookout was fantastic as usual but was interrupted by a brief "shower". It rained almost three inches in an hour.
Another person was from Marsh harbor with his two sisters. They ar Aubrys and each of the own a mrina. They spend their days doing charity work.
We got back late and showered and as usual all the restaurants were closed so we again wnet to Sundowners in New Plymouth where Brian made us fish sandwhitches. The boys are still in the parking lot trading, smokiing and lord knows what.
Today is fishing with Ellie. We are hoping to cook our dinner tonight so we will be on time.
