Friday June 12 the day before my Bday!! Yeah!

Well the squalls passed through about 1:00 pm and we took off for the Abacos. The trip was fabulous at 28 knots and some rolling waves. Judi spotted a weedline at the Little harbour cut and we dropped in some artificial shrimp in about 50 feet of water and boom, two at a time. they were small grouper looking fish so we put them back looking for larger ones and caught several more of the same and kept them. We then took of for Hopetown Marina so we could get there before dark and be "official: instead of just poaching. Rudy met us and all the other poeple came over to see how far we got and how our trip was. NOw back to our dinner [ the fish]Found out that these are some really special grouper that do not get much larger. We got hooked up and showered and we are now cooking our catch with some fresh broccoli we got in town the other day. Tomorrow is birthday day and probably will do some snorkeling and get some more of these grouper before going to Green Turtle.
We will enjoy our fesh meal and sleep well under a beautiful moonlit starry sky.

now back to the beautiful people at the marina and at the restaurant in Harbour Town ....... Thank you for the use of your internet, great food, and help from the marina. We really did enjoy our visit with you and hope you are keeping up with us.
